What is this rudraksha bracelet?
This is a plain, natural 5 Mukhi rudraksha bracelet in solid 925 silver, built on a dual-wire frame with no additional charms. It is the simplest and most versatile option in our rudraksha bracelet range, focused purely on the beads and the silver.
What is 5 Mukhi rudraksha, and who can wear it?
5 Mukhi rudraksha has five natural faces on each bead and is the most common and widely worn form, closely linked to Lord Shiva. It is considered suitable for everyone, with no strict restrictions, making it a straightforward daily-wear choice for beginners and regular wearers alike.
Is this Nepali or Indonesian rudraksha?
These are natural Indonesian (Java) 5 Mukhi rudraksha beads at approximately 6.5mm, gem-lab certified. They are smaller and smoother than the larger, considerably more expensive Nepali variety, but both are genuine rudraksha, and we are upfront about the origin so you know exactly what you are buying.
How do I know the beads are real?
Each bracelet comes with a gem-lab certificate confirming the beads are natural rudraksha rather than synthetic or moulded substitutes. Genuine beads also show natural mukhi lines and surface grain, which imitation beads will not have.
Is the silver genuine, and why should I trust NJELS for this?
Yes - the frame and bead caps are solid 925 sterling silver, hallmark stamped, not a plated alloy. The bracelet is handcrafted by our own Kutch artisans, and as a registered silver brand, NJELS uses genuine rudraksha and real silver throughout.
What size is it, and how do the three ring extenders work?
The base size is 7.5 inches, and it comes with three silver ring extenders that you can add or remove to adjust the fit. This lets one bracelet comfortably accommodate a range of wrist sizes without needing a separate size chart.
Is it strong enough for daily wear?
Yes - it uses a double-wire gathan chain rather than a single thread, which makes it noticeably more durable for everyday use rather than occasional wear.
Who is this bracelet designed for?
It is designed primarily for men and boys, and its simple, unadorned look makes it an easy everyday piece for anyone who prefers rudraksha without additional symbols or charms.
What are the benefits of wearing rudraksha?
Rudraksha is traditionally believed to calm the mind, sharpen focus, ease stress and provide spiritual protection, and is closely associated with devotion to Lord Shiva.
How do I care for and clean it?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and occasionally rub a little coconut or sandalwood oil into the beads to keep them looking healthy. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and harsh chemicals, and polish the silver gently with a silver cloth.
How is this different from the Trishul-Damroo or Mahakal rudraksha bracelets?
This is the plain version, with certified rudraksha and silver but no added charms or symbols, whereas the Trishul-Damroo and Mahakal versions add specific devotional Shiva charms. Choose this one if you want the essentials without any extra design elements.
Is it a good gift?
Yes - its simple, versatile design makes it an easy gift for anyone interested in rudraksha, regardless of how devotional or minimal their taste is. It arrives with a gem-lab certificate and a jewellery storage box, ready to present.
